Mongstadbase is a modern and serviceoriented supply base for Statoil's installations on the continental shelf with a short sailing distance to a number of key North Sea oil and gas fields. Mongstadbase can tailor total solutions for logistic and repair / modification work, and works together with leading subcontractors in the region in a variety of fields. A 24 hours duty provides round-the-clock service to our clients.

Mongstadbase AS was established 1984 as a supplybase for Norsk Hydro  operations on the Norwegian continental shelf. Mongstadbase AS is today a part of the Frank Mohn group, and is one of the greatest employer in the region with more than 200 man labor year.

Mongstadbase is a modern ISPS approved harbour fully equipped with cranes transport equipment and ample storage facilities both for indoor and outdoore storage. 

Approximately 20 installations are supplied by Mongstadbase. Every year we receive more than 2000 port calls, and ship in/out more than 1 million metric tonne.

Based on volume / tonnage Mongstadbase is the largest offshore supply base in Norway.

Due to the increasing activity Mongstadbase is currently expanding the capasity by extending the quays and storage area. By the summer of 2008, when the expansion is compleated, the total area will be more than 400.000 sqm. The total quayage will be 750 metres. Our persistent focus on HSE combined with massive improvement of the facilities will make Mongstadbase a modern og efficient player in the times to come.
